Life has loveliness to sell...hence goes the poem. And the other name of loveliness in my dictionary is cakes. I mean, who doesn’t love a piece of cake ?! Cakes....are after all what childhood birthday parties are made of and a companion of all those celebratory moments of adulthood. Cakes, cupcakes, pastries and all the other variances are equally salivating to the taste buds and bring a sense of jubilation amongst adults and young alike.
Cakes have an interesting etymology. ‘Kaka’ a viking word is said to be the genesis of the word cake. Cake decoration has existed almost parallely to the innovation of cakes. Cakes initially were made by pounding mixed grains and heating the paste formed, on ovens, to create breads. Then, some key ingredients like butter, honey, nuts etc was harmoniously mixed to make what can be called the first cakes.
In the modern 21st century, there are many cake making and decorating courses which are taught in some cake making institutes and which acquaint the people with the latest trends in vogue in the field of cake making. These courses are available in number of variants like a long term course or a short term course. This means the people have options galore to choose from if they want to pursue cooking from one of these cooking and cake making institutes.
These baking and confectionery courses are taught using the latest technologies and by practical methods. This improves the dexterity of the students enrolled and they get to learn the alpha and omega of cake making.
The cooking institute in India is also a good place to learn baking. Apart from this there is Academy of Pastry Arts in India which teaches the students everything by complete hands on training. This is one institute which is viable in every sense . Cake making is the soul and the passion this academy.
