Cakes made with love taste the sweetest

‘There’s no love sincere than the love of food’- G.B. Shaw.
The aforesaid sentence, is justified. Afterall who can ignore the fact that, for an empty stomach, food is God. Food - just a four letter word, means the world for all of us. After all , this is why we all are earning and working hard for ,that is to afford four square meals for ourselves at the end of the day

Talking of food, perhaps, desserts are that aspect of food that require no special mention. Cakes , a favourite dessert of both the children and adults alike, has an interesting history. The word cake has been derived from the viking word ‘kaka’. Cakes have been  in vogue since a long period of time and is not a new phenomenon as most people think it to be. In the biblical times, breads  were generally mixed with honey, butter , and nuts to make them edible and tasty. This perhaps was the first instance of cake making.

Cakes were mostly used in birthday celebrations and weddings in the earlier times. However, in the modern times, cakes are used in almost all occasions of celebrations. It is because of this simple reason that several cake making schools have opened in western countries, Asian countries and almost the whole world. These schools offer several cake decorating classes and bakery and confectionery courses.

These schools have become quite popular in countries like India. Several cooking institutes in India offer courses in cake making and baking. They are facilitated by the best faculty who are master in their craft.

Academy of Pastry Arts is one such baking school which endeavours to make chefs and patissiers extraordinary. All those who have a knack in baking and pastry making should look forward to this institute.
